Adeline Gjerlaugsen
I'm Adeline — an Oslo-based wedding and lifestyle photographer with a calm, intuitive approach to storytelling. My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial — rooted in real moments, with a considered eye for composition, light, movement and the subtle details that often go unnoticed.
I began photographing weddings in 2018, drawn to the way a wedding day naturally unfolds: the anticipation, the energy, the quiet in-between moments and all the little things that make each celebration entirely its own. With a background in Media and Communications, alongside a year of Digital Content Production at Høyskolen Kristiania in Oslo, I bring both a creative and thoughtful approach to my work.
I believe in balance — between structure and spontaneity, movement and stillness. Some moments call for gentle direction, most don’t.
My photographs are honest, atmospheric and a little poetic — made to bring you back to how it all felt, not just how it looked.
I don’t believe in staging emotions. Or interrupting what’s already meaningful. The best images happen in the in-between — when you’re fully present, slightly unaware, and simply being.
Who I'm for
You’re not looking for perfectly posed perfection. You want photographs that feel like you — the wind in your hair, your grandmother laughing at the dinner table, champagne on your sleeve, the way they looked at you when no one was watching.
Æva is for couples who care about atmosphere, connection and the little things. For those drawn to beautiful places, good design and photographs with a sense of story — but who don't want their wedding day to feel like a photoshoot.
